Build Strong Connections
Joining Kootenay Christian Academy means being part of a welcoming, faith-filled community where teaching is a calling, not just a job. At KCA, you’ll help shape young hearts and minds in a supportive, spiritually grounded environment.
We offer small class sizes, strong relationships and a team that prays, worships and grows together. If you’re seeking a place where faith and teaching go hand in hand, KCA is that place.
Lead, Inspire, Grow
KCA is growing, expanding programs and planning boldly for the future. From preschool to Grade 12, KCA is a place where faith is foundational, learning is dynamic and community is strong.
Teachers are empowered to bring forward ideas, pilot new approaches, and take ownership of initiatives that align with their passions and the school’s vision. Whether you’re interested in curriculum development, mentoring or expanding student experiences, there is room to progress and lead.
Our School Community
Kootenay Christian Academy is located in Cranbrook, a beautiful mountain city in the heart of the Rockies. With its stunning scenery, year-round outdoor adventure, and welcoming small-town feel, Cranbrook offers the ideal setting for a balanced lifestyle.
From hiking and skiing to lakeside relaxation, there’s always something to enjoy just minutes from your door. With local shops, restaurants, and an airport with regular flights, Cranbrook combines convenience with community, making it a great place to live, work and thrive.
Faith-Centred Learning
We value each student as a unique creation of God and support them through small class sizes, personalized learning, and a caring community. Rooted in prayer and shared mission, our staff and students thrive in a worship, discipleship and purpose culture.
With a biblical worldview woven into every subject, students grow in faith, character and leadership. KCA is a dynamic, growing school where faith guides learning, and community drives everything we do.
Nature-Rich Lifestyle
Living in Cranbrook means embracing a lifestyle that offers natural beauty and everyday convenience. Residents enjoy a slower, more intentional pace of life with a significantly lower living cost than major metropolitan areas.
Housing is more affordable, commutes are short, and there’s more time and space to enjoy family, community, faith and the outdoors.
Cranbrook’s central location in the East Kootenays means you’re close to everything: world-class ski hills, parks, lakes and charming towns.
