Welcome to Langley Christian School
Langley Christian School is an inspiring, growth-oriented, purpose-driven Christian teaching and learning community that delivers high-quality, transformative educational programming for Pre-K to Grade 12 students.
We design and foster experiences that produce graduates who are well equipped in faith, knowledge, critical competencies and have the character to transform their fellow students, their families and their communities.
Why You’ll Love It Here
Our work is guided by our core values – connect, thrive and equip – and our vision to ensure we are meeting the needs of diverse learners, helping them to flourish in a changing world.
As members of a Christian learning community committed to modeling growth, reflection and lifelong learning — and as educators delivering quality instruction — we make professional development a priority.
Jon Kuehl, a middle school teacher at Langley Christian School, shares his passion for teaching and why our community inspires him to grow as an educator.
What We Value
Our work is guided by our vision, values and four strategic priorities:
- Establishing a culture of grace, love and safety
- Executing with excellence in everything we do
- Expanding our community reach and impact
- Establishing sustainable practices
Our vision for teaching and learning is clear: we build strong relationships, set high expectations and embrace inclusive, differentiated practices.
Instruction is shaped by clear goals, quality assessments and proven strategies. Our curriculum weaves together Christian big ideas, Indigenous perspectives and core competencies — creating real-world learning that sparks collaboration, creativity and innovation.
What Makes Us Unique
We are a school of choice within one of North America’s most progressive education systems — and the only multi-denominational school in Langley.
Our programming:
- K–5: A strong foundation in Biblical narrative, literacy, numeracy and social-emotional skills
- 8–12: Continued focus on Biblical thinking and core competencies, plus electives in STEM, skilled trades, technology, creative arts, community service and wellness
Beyond academics, we offer exceptional extracurricular opportunities in athletics, service and the arts, creating a well-rounded experience that prepares students for life and faith.
