Welcome to Anchor Academy
Anchor Academy is a Group 1 independent K-12 Christian School, offering Distributed Learning, Home school registered and an International Program. For 33 years, we have provided a Christian education to students across BC. As we grow our special education department, we continue to meet all of our students’ unique needs and learning styles.

We offer teachers flexible workdays and weeks, along with ongoing training opportunities and professional development sessions throughout the year. Because our teachers work remotely, we place a strong emphasis on building and maintaining close relationships with all staff.
As a non-denominational Christian school, we are guided by strong Christian values. We value working with families who share these beliefs and cherish the opportunity to minister to and pray for our students and their families.
Our School Community
Our school office is located in the beautiful North Okanagan-Shuswap region, while our teachers live and work in communities across B.C.

Anchor Academy offers teaching opportunities across the province, giving educators the flexibility to live in their own communities while working remotely.
We embrace the use of technology to “shorten” the distance between teachers, office staff and families, giving staff the flexibility to enjoy local recreation, outdoor adventures and a balanced lifestyle.
